In this month’s newsletter, we highlight the newest recipients of the Spirit of Ryan Award, the successful Friends of Ryan Golf Outing, the Class of ‘77’s upcoming reunion and much, much more.
Spirit of Ryan
This past month, Archbishop Ryan recognized the newest class of Spirit of Ryan recipients. The Spirit of Ryan Awards are given annually to individuals who promote the values and traditions of Archbishop Ryan High School.
Honorees have shown outstanding service to Ryan through work on alumni programs, advisory committees, activities and athletics, and other efforts that ensure the success of the school and advance the mission of Archbishop Ryan High School. Recipients may include faculty and staff members, business and community leaders, alumni volunteers, and / or loyal donors.
Individuals who have displayed consistent commitment to the success of Ryan will be honored with the Father Rene Barczak, OFM Award.
The In Vite Mane Award will be awarded to two deserving graduating seniors who represent the school and the Spirit of Ryan program through their service, education and extra-curricular involvement. In Vite Mane is Archbishop Ryan’s school motto to “Remain in the Vine”. The committee felt the name of the award was in line with the mission to keep all our alumni connected to Archbishop Ryan High School. Friends of Ryan Annual Golf Outing
This year’s Annual Friends of Ryan Golf Outing was a huge success and with prayers provided by Fr. Rene, the weather held off just long enough for all our golfers to finish the day out. A great time was had by all as fellow Alumni across all decades participated for the coveted trophy for best foursome. The event raised significant funds which will be utilized to support the mission of ensuring the future growth of Archbishop Ryan and its students through Tuition Assistance, Programs, and Capital Improvements. We would like to thank all who participated, our sponsors who continuously support our events and mission. We hope to see you all next year.

Class of ‘77 ~ 45 Year Reunion
Calling all Alumni of the Class of 1977!!! It’s time for a 70’s FLASHBACK! Join the fun and get your tickets at https://www.arhs.me/class77reunion The Archbishop Ryan Class of 1977 ~ 45th Reunion is scheduled for Friday November 11th from 7 to 11 PM at the Philadelphia Quartett Country Club, 1075 Southampton Road, Phila., PA 19116. Tickets are $70 include Dinner ~ Dancing ~ Open Bar ~ and more. Tickets are available online until midnight on Sunday November 6, 2022.

2022 Turkey Bowl
Let’s get behind our Ryan Raiders for this year’s Turkey Bowl as they compete against our neighborhood rivals George Washington High School. Sports Radio 94 WIP is hosting a contest to broadcast live during their midday show the winner of the contest. All it takes is to text the word TURKEY4 to 20357.
