In this month’s newsletter edition, we highlight the success of the 2022 Summer Social at the Seaport Pier in Wildwood NJ, invite Alumni and friends to participate in the 2022 Friends of Ryan Golf Outing, Class of 1977 ~ 45 Year Reunion and much more.
2022 Summer Social
This past month, the 2022 Summer Social was held at the Seaport Pier in Wildwood NJ. The weather was great as fellow Alumni and friends filled all corners of the pier. The Ryan colors were on display and Alumni from all decades proudly represented their Ryan spirit. We wish to thank the Alumni and friends of Archbishop Ryan for making the event a huge success. Your support helped raise a record of over $100,000 in gross funds raised which ultimately supports the students of Archbishop Ryan through tuition assistance, programs, and capital improvements.

Summer Social Sponsors
The Friends of Ryan would like to thank all the sponsors who donated to the event. In total there were 87 sponsors who helped offset the expense of the event and raise funds towards the students of Archbishop Ryan. Many of the businesses involved are former students with businesses in the local area. We are one Ryan community, and we encourage everyone to support the businesses that support Archbishop Ryan. The Friends of Ryan would like to thank everyone involved who put the time and effort into making this event so special and continuing a great tradition. From our amazing entertainment provided by Frank & Alice of Jamison and our very own DJ Bobby Sacco to all the volunteers who participated in the committee. As you can imagine, a lot of time and effort goes into putting on such an event and it is all volunteer based. Friends of Ryan Annual Golf Outing
Join us for a day out on the links and help support the students of Archbishop Ryan. The Annual Friends of Ryan Golf Outing is scheduled for Monday October 17, 2022, at The Bucks Club in Jamison PA. Registration starts at 10:30 followed by a shotgun start at noon. Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are located at http://friendsofryangolfouting.com

Calling all Alumni of the Class of 1977!!! It’s time for a 70’s FLASHBACK! Join the fun and get your tickets at https://www.arhs.me/class77reunion The Archbishop Ryan Class of 1977 ~ 45th Reunion is scheduled for Friday November 11th from 7 to 11 PM at the Philadelphia Quartett Country Club, 1075 Southampton Road, Phila., PA 19116. Tickets are $70 include Dinner ~ Dancing ~ Open Bar ~ and more. Entertainment provided by Just Call Dawn DJ.

Ragdolls Giving Back
A group of ragdolls associated with the 1990 Girls Soccer PCL Championship Team have made several donations towards supporting the students at Archbishop Ryan. The group sponsored the most recent Summer Social which helped gross over $100,000 in funds raised, a donation to the locker room project to upgrade the lockers and the rooms themselves and most recently donated towards practice jerseys for our current girls’ soccer team. We wish the team the best of luck in the upcoming season and would like to extend our gratitude towards the 1990 PCL Champs for giving back.

Flag Football Team Helps Kick Off Eagles Season
Congratulations to the Archbishop Ryan Flag Football Team who helped kickoff the Philadelphia Eagles season. The girls had amazing success last year. Thank you to the coaches, parents and athletes involved to stand up a program in their inaugural year.
