Winter Social a Big Hit
In this month’s newsletter we recap the 2023 Winter Social and look forward to the 2023 Summer Social at the Seaport Pier. 2023 Friends of Ryan Winter Social
Wow!! What a great night at Archbishop Ryan where Alumni, parents, and friends met to celebrate the night away at the 2023 Winter Social. As our beloved Philadelphia Eagles advanced to the Super Bowl, the off week presented the perfect opportunity to turn the Social into a pep rally as well. Archbishop Ryan’s very own DJ Bobby Sacco ‘00 kept the dance floor packed along with an impressive light display that set the mood and energy all night long. Marinucci’s Deli donated hundreds of hoagies, Ferry Good Treats, Jaclyn Ferry ‘08 donated cupcakes and butter cakes, Milillo Event Group donated salads, Liberty Coke donated soda and water and Shop Rite donated various desserts. City Distilling hosted a vodka tasting area alongside the AR ice sculpture and ION Events, Ryan Simmons ‘04, donated the photo booth. Thank you all for attending and strengthening the bonds of our Alumni and the Ryan Community as a whole in our mission to support Archbishop Ryan and its students through Tuition Assistance, Programs and Capital Improvements.

State Senator Jimmy Dillon and State Representative Ed Neilson Present State Grant to the Friends of Ryan
The Friends of Ryan would like to thank State Senator Jimmy Dillon and State Representative Ed Neilson for attending the 2023 Winter Social and presenting the Friends of Ryan with check which represents $3.25 million dollars in matching grants associated with the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) towards improvements to the Archbishop Ryan Athletic Complex.

Coming off the heels of another Successful Winter Social, we invite Alumni, friends, parents and the Ryan community to Save the Date for the 2023 Summer Social at the Seaport Pier in Wildwood Nj. The Summer Social is scheduled for Saturday July 29, 2023, from 2 to 7PM. Can’t wait to see everyone there!!!

Archbishop Ryan Raiders & Ragdoll Alumni Breakfast
Join fellow Alumni for the 2023 Archbishop Ryan Raiders & Ragdolls Alumni Breakfast scheduled for Saturday April 15, 2023, from 10AM to 1PM at the Philadelphia Quartett Club located at 1075 Southampton Road, Philadelphia PA 19116. This is a great opportunity to catch up with fellow Alumni and discuss events, project, and volunteer opportunities at Archbishop Ryan High School. Tickets are $30 and includes a buffet breakfast. Class of 1973 ~ 50 Year Reunion
Calling the Class of 1973!!! Save the date for the Class of 1973 ~ 50 Year Reunion scheduled for October 6, 2023, at the Southampton Room located at 2980 Southampton Road, Philadelphia PA 19154. We are very excited to welcome the newest members to the illustrious 50 Year Class of Archbishop Ryan and details to purchase tickets will be available shortly.
Class of 1973 Golden Graduation Ceremony
Attention Class of 1973! You are cordially invited to join us in Commencement Exercises to celebrate your Golden Graduation. Graduation ceremonies will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023, at The Cure Insurance Arena in Trenton, NJ at 11am.
RSVP at Class of 1973 Golden Graduation Ceremony. All responses should be submitted no later than March 16th so we can have a headcount to order caps and stoles.

Get ready for an exciting night as we get the gang back together to celebrate the Class of 2013 ~ 10 Year Reunion scheduled for Friday May 12, 2023, from 7 to 11PM at the FOP Lodge #5 located at 11630 Caroline Road, Philadelphia PA 19154. Tickets are $85 and include Open Bar, Buffet, DJ & Photo Booth. Tickets are available only online at https://www.arhs.me/reunion2013 until April 27, 2013.
Spirit of Ryan Nominations
When you think of Archbishop Ryan, is there a specific person who comes to mind instantly because they are involved in all the behind-the- scenes planning for AR events? Or do you think of your favorite teacher who made a difference in your time at AR?

Started by a few Alumni getting together on a regular basis to catch up and discuss the events taking place at Ryan, has since blossomed in size and scope. Hear directly from Ryan Administrators, Friends of Ryan, Alumni groups and community leaders and how our Alumni can support Archbishop Ryan.
